Ecomdash, an inventory-management tool for online merchants, received an investment from Gemini Southern, which will also provide ecommerce-specific expertise and advisory services.
Ecomdash also announced integration with Rakuten.com (formerly Buy.com) and Newegg, making it easier for sellers to sync inventory, sales orders, shipping, and fulfillment data across sales channels. Ecomdash automates and integrates omni-channel retailers’ inventory, sales orders, product listings and shipping processes across marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and Etsy and platforms such as Bigcommerce, Shopify, and Magento.
Capital received from Gemini Southern, a merchant bank, is part of a larger financing the company expects to close towards the end of 2014. Steve Urvan, founder and CEO of GunBroker.com, is on the leadership team of Gemini Southern.
Ecomdash intends to use the capital for further software development projects and new enhancements as well as expand partner API integrations. It said it also plans to add further critical financial and supply chain vendor system integrations into the ecommerce dashboard management tool and will hire new resources “in an effort to execute an aggressive product development roadmap throughout 2015.”
