eBay Looks for Affiliates at Next Month’s Summit

eBay will host a cocktail party to attract new affiliates at next month’s Affiliate Summit West (ASW) in Last Vegas. The three-day ASW conference includes an exhibit hall with affiliates, merchants, vendors, and networks, as well as educational sessions covering the latest trends and information from affiliate marketing experts.

An eBay spokesperson told EcommerceBytes the event will feature roundtables with ePN team members, and current publishers will be on hand to answer questions and provide expertise on topics including how to apply to the program, mobile strategies, and optimization tips. “Of course, we’ll have free food and drinks as well,” she said.

This is the first time eBay’s affiliate program has held this kind of “101” event, she said. Expect more ePN events such as this one to be held around the country.

Scott Parent, North American Communications Manager for ePN, said eBay is interested in any talking with all potential affiliates, especially those who have something unique to offer. “We’re especially focusing on niche and longer tail publishers in 2015: those within hyper-targeted segments who can help us reach new audiences.”

ePN works with over 300,000 publisher sites to promote the 13 global eBay programs. To learn more about joining ePN, publishers can visit eBayPartnerNetwork.com.

eBay’s happy hour for affiliates takes places on January 18, 2015 from 4 – 7pm at the London Club at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. See the eBay Partner Network blogfor more information.
