Nearly every weekend eBay UK announces a multi-day seller promotion, and this weekend was no exception. And as is the case with most UK promotions, this one was also for private (casual) sellers only who are registered as a resident in the UK.
But it’s no wonder eBay wants to encourage sellers to list more this week in particular – eBay UK said November 30th, which it’s calling “Super Sunday,” was set to be its busiest shopping day of 2014 with an expected 7 million visitors to eBay.co.uk over a 24-hour period.
The invitation-only promotion kicked off on Saturday the 22nd and runs through Thursday, November 27, 2014. Eligible sellers can list up to 100 auction or fixed-price listings and pay no insertion fees.
Sellers invited to participate in the UK promo should be aware that they must opt-in through an RSVP link in the invitation before receiving the promotional rates. (Mind phishing and scam emails.)
Sellers who registered after March 15, 2011 or who haven’t listed any items for a while may have a listing allowance of 10 items per month or 650 pounds per month. Free listings in the promotion don’t count towards sellers’ monthly 20 free listings
All other fees apply, see eBay UK website for details and restrictions.
