eBay UK is running two nearly identical promotions, both by invitation only. In one promotion, invited sellers can create up to 100 listings using the auction-style or fixed price format and pay no insertion fees.
The other promotion is similar but it encourages sellers to use Buy It Now and Best Offers: invited sellers can create up to 100 listings using the auction-style format with Buy It Now option or fixed price format with Best Offer option and pay no insertion fees – and no additional Buy It Now fees.
Sellers who receive an invitation to one of the promotions must activate the offer before getting the special rates – and only private (casual) sellers may participate. Participation is linked to sellers’ accounts and is not transferable, and sellers must be registered as a resident in the UK.
Selling limits apply. If you registered after March 15, 2011 or haven’t listed any items for a while, you may have a listing allowance of 10 items per month or of 650 pounds per month.
