eBay UK is running a free-listing promotion, and unlike its typical sales that are targeted at casual sellers, this one applies to business sellers. However, the sale is by invitation only.
Invited sellers can list up to 50,000 listings and pay no insertion fee once they activate the promotion. Sellers must list in an eligible category using the fixed price format on eBay.co.uk.
eBay.co.uk registered business sellers who have been invited to participate by email or by a message in My eBay Messages must actively opt in to the promotion via the RSVP link shown in the marketing communication.
Participation is linked to the invited seller’s account and is not transferable. To take part in this promotion, sellers must be registered as resident in the UK.
The promotion kicked off on October 27, 2014 and runs through November 2, 2014.
If you registered after March 15, 2011 or haven’t listed any items for a while, you may have a selling allowance of 10 items per month or of 650 pounds per month. If your selling allowance is less than 50,000, you will only be able to receive zero insertion fees up to the limit of your selling allowance.
