eBay UK Runs Halloween Promo for Casual Sellers

eBay UK is running a promotion for private (casual) sellers through October 14, 2014. Eligible sellers can list up to 100 additional listings and pay no listing fees. However, the promotion is open to invited private sellers only.

The promotion kicked off on Saturday and includes auction and fixed-price format listings in eligible categories. (Listings using the auction-style with Buy it now format will be charged the listing upgrade fee.)

The promotion landing page features a photo of jack-o’-lanterns and reads, “Boo! A spooky treat for you. Get selling just in time for Halloween with 100 additional free listings from 11 – 14 October.” eBay is popular with shoppers of Halloween costumes.

The UK marketplace explained in the terms that only eBay.co.uk registered private sellers who have been invited to participate and are not below-standard sellers or otherwise restricted from selling can participate. “Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is not transferable. Sellers must be registered as a resident in the UK.”

Selling limits apply. See details and restrictions on the eBay UK website.
