Get selling and make someone’s summer – that was the message eBay sent to non-business sellers in the UK over the weekend as it encouraged them to sell by offering up to 100 free listings.
The invitation-only promotion was sent to private (casual) sellers and runs from August 9 through the 11th. Eligible sellers can create up to 100 listings in the auction or fixed-price format on eBay.co.uk and pay no insertion fees. Listings using the auction-style with Buy it now format will be charged only the listing upgrade fee.
Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is not transferable. Users who registered after March 15, 2011 or who have not listed any items for a while may have a listing cap of 10 items per month or of 650 pounds per month.
All other fees apply, see website for details and restrictions.
