eBay Runs Generous Week-long Listing Promotion

eBay kicked off a free-listing promotion for sellers that runs from July 11 – 17, 2014. For those sellers invited to participate, they may list up to 1,000 auctions a day and pay no insertion fees.

The promotion includes auctions and auctions with Buy It Now, and 5, 7, and 10-day listing durations are included. While sellers normally pay a 40-cent charge for an optional 10-day listing duration, that fee is waived for this promotion.

All existing selling limits as well as category and item limits apply and may prevent sellers from creating the maximum number of listings.

eBay requires sellers activate certain promotions, but in this case, sellers who have been invited to participate will automatically receive the promotional rate when they create qualifying listings. (You have to use the eBay’s Seller Your Item form 3.0 in order to see the promotion rates during the listing process.)

All other fees apply, see eBay website for details and restrictions.

Note: See this Letter to the Editor about eBay’s latest promotion.
