eBay Runs Pre-Independence Day Auction Promotions

eBay is running a free listing promotion to encourage sellers to list auctions prior to Independence Day in the United States. However, only sellers who receive an invitation can participate. eBay is also holding a promotion in the UK for invited, private (casual) sellers only.

The eBay.com (and eBay Canada) promo kicked off on Saturday and runs through Wednesday, July 2nd. Invited sellers can list up to 7,500 auction or auction with Buy It Now listings and pay no insertion fees; they will also pay no additional fees for adding 10-day Duration, Subtitle, Bold, Gallery Plus, Listing Designer, or Value Pack.

All existing selling limits as well as category and item limits apply, and only 5, 7, and 10-day listing durations are included.

Meanwhile, the eBay UK promotion also kicked off on Saturday the 28th, but it ends on July 1st. It lets private sellers (those who are not registered as business sellers) list up to 200 listings in auction or fixed-price format. Sellers must be registered as a resident in the UK, and they must be invited to participate.

As in most eBay promotions, all other fees apply, see the eBay.com website and eBay UK website for details and restrictions.
