eBay UK Runs Free Listing Promotion

eBay is running a free listing promotion in the UK in which sellers can list up to 50,000 fixed-price listings and pay no insertion fees. The promotion is rare in that it applies to business sellers – typically eBay UK runs weekend promotions for private (casual) sellers. The promotion is by invitation only. Eligible, invited sellers must actively opt in to the promotion via an RSVP link displayed in the marketing communication.

Sellers must be registered as resident in the UK. Participation is linked to the invited seller’s account and is not transferable.

The promotion runs from April 7 – 11, 2014. Only business sellers whose accounts meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards are eligible. Sellers who registered after March 15, 2011 or who haven’t listed any items for a while may have a selling allowance of 10 items per month or of 650 pounds per month.

Good ‘Til Cancelled listings that automatically renew during the promotional period are not eligible for the promotion.

All other fees apply, see eBay website for details and restrictions.
