eBay UK Promo for Business Sellers Not for Everyone

eBay is running a rare promotion for UK business sellers – but beware, it’s by invitation only, and you must click on a special RSVP link. Sellers who do receive the invitation can list up to 50,000 listings in fixed-price format and pay no insertion fees.

eBay UK generally runs more promotions for casual (“Private”) sellers than business sellers, so those lucky enough to receive the invitation will be no doubt be busy this weekend preparing to list – the promotion runs from March 3 – 7, 2014.

The invitation to participate is linked to the invited seller’s account and is not transferable. Sellers must be registered as resident in the UK, and only business sellers whose accounts meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards are eligible. Sellers who registered after March 15, 2011 or who haven’t listed any items for a while may have a selling allowance of 10 items per month or of 650 pounds per month.

Auction-style and auction-style with Buy it now upgrade are excluded. Good ‘Til Cancelled listings that automatically renew during the promotional period won’t be eligible for the promotion.

All other fees apply, see website for details and restrictions, and remember to activate the promotion. More information is available on the eBay UK website.
