eBay to Roll Out New Seller Dashboard

eBay will roll out a new seller dashboard over the coming weeks and says the new page will give sellers greater insight into their performance. Staying in compliance with eBay’s performance standards has never been more important, with exposure in search and discounts tied to DSR feedback and the number of cases opened by buyers.

Over the summer, eBay had removed the policy compliance feature from the seller dashboard. The new dashboard has been completely redesigned with the following features:

    • Clearly see your status for both the current and upcoming evaluation cycle – without having to click through to additional screens.

  • Receive timely alerts when you’re at risk of losing your Top Rated status or not meeting eBay’s minimum standards for all sellers.

  • Immediately identify performance areas that need your attention – all on one page.

  • See your seller status for eBay UK, Germany, and your global rating for all other eBay sites internationally.

Sellers had been concerned when the policy compliance feature had disappeared from their dashboards on August 19th with no warning, and eBay spokesperson Ryan Moore told EcommerceBytes at the time that the feature “wasn’t portraying an accurate snapshot of a seller’s performance.”

eBay has begun rolling out the seller dashboard this week and all sellers should be able to view and use the new dashboard by early March, when they’ll be able to judge for themselves how well the new dashboard portrays their performance.
