eBay Honors Top Importers from Emerging Markets

eBay honored top sellers at an event in Thailand last week, noting that among its top 100 sellers from emerging markets were those from Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India, and Southeast Asia. The Exporter of the Year 2024 winners were:

  • 1st Place : Poppri Fashion from Lithuania
  • 2nd Place: SCC Consignments from Singapore
  • 3rd Place: Mediquip usa from India

eBay said 24 Southeast Asian sellers ranked among the top 100 best-performing sellers, “reflecting the high global demand for Southeast Asian inventory across the world.” Six of the 24 Southeast Asia sellers sold in the Parts and Accessories, Watches, and Trading cards categories and included sellers from Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

In fact, eBay said its top five best-selling categories in 2024 were Car & Truck Parts & Accessories, Watches, Motorcycle & Scooter Parts & Accessories, Trading Card Singles, and Men’s Clothing. “These categories have captured the interest of buyers across the globe,” eBay said. The US leads as the top buyer country, followed by Australia, UK, Canada, and Germany.

eBay awarded 24 sellers for their outstanding growth performance and exceptional buyer experience. “These accolades highlight their remarkable service excellence compared to millions of sellers across the Global Emerging Market regions.”

eBay posted on LinkedIn about the event where Vidmay Naini, General Manager of eBay Global Emerging Markets, gave the keynote address on December 4th. “From Rising Stars and Customer Service Excellence to exceptional growth in focus categories like Parts & Accessories, Business & Industrial, Fashion & Luxury, Lifestyle, Jewelry & Gemstones, and the prestigious Exporter of the Year 2024 title – this event celebrated extraordinary achievements,” eBay said.

eBay also held the event last year in Dubai.
