Reminder: USPS Click-N-Ship Rewards End on Sunday

The US Postal Service ended its rewards program last year for the Click-N-Ship service and is now notifying customers that they have until Sunday to redeem any remaining credits from the program. The USPS has been contacting customers by email to remind them of the expiration date.

The USPS’s Click-N-Ship (CNS) program allows customers to purchase shipping labels online (online sellers generally use more powerful shipping programs offered through third-party providers). CNS initially offered postage discounts, presumably to reduce the amount of people buying postage at Post Office windows, but in 2016, it eliminated the discounts. At the time, a USPS spokesperson told EcommerceBytes that the change reflected the fact that most customers using the service were Retail customers using online postage and that the change aligned USPS prices with those of competitors.

In 2020, the USPS introduced a loyalty program to entice people to use Click-N-Ship, but last year, it ended the program and reinstated discount postage through the program. EcommerceBytes coverage of the announcement includes details and statistics about the loyalty program.
