eBay is running a free listing promotion and tying it in with its Global Shipping Program. However, it’s an invitation-only promotion, and sellers must activate it before they will receive free listings.
Recipients of the invitation were told, “Grow your sales with free listings through February 11 – Pocket even more cash with free listings. Plus sellers who use GSP may increase their sales.”
The promotion landing page continued, “Shipping around the world is easier than you think. With our Global Shipping Program, the whole world is within your reach. Select international shipping to have your listing seen by buyers around the world. Once it’s sold, simply package and send it to our US shipping center. We’ll take it from there – and you take the profits!”
However, it does not appear that using GSP is a requirement of the promotion.
Invited sellers who activate the offer can list up to 100 auction-style format or auction-style with Buy It Now format listings per day and pay no listing fees. 5-, 7-, and 10-day listing durations are included in this Promotion.
The promotion kicks off on February 5 and runs through February 11th. Sellers must activate the promotion in order to receive the promotional rates. All other fees apply, read the promotion invitation for details and restrictions.
Note: promotion excludes relists.
