eBay Hosts USPS Rep to Answer Shipping Questions

eBay will host a webinar on Monday in conjunction with the US Postal Service to answer questions about shipping via USPS. eBay seller advocate Jim (Griff) Griffith will be joined by Maria Aspiras, who will answer questions through the live webcast.

Sellers won’t want to miss this opportunity to get their shipping questions answered as the busy holiday shopping season draws near.

eBay is a major client of the USPS through the sellers who use USPS shipping services (Priority Mail is a particularly popular service) – and eBay also provides online postage to sellers, which is powered by PC Postage provider Pitney Bowes.

The fact that eBay is a big client of the Postal Service is apparent in reading Aspiras’ role at the agency: she is responsible for managing the partner relationship with eBay including developing and maintaining successful business relationships with all eBay business units. She’s a long time employee, having spent over 20 years at USPS.

Given the questions sellers have about postal issues, she can expect lots of questions – and she better brush up on tracking in particular, as it’s a touchy subject for sellers who are judged by eBay on how well shipping carriers get their packages into the hands of buyers.

The webinar takes place August 17th at 1:30 pm PST. You can learn more on the eBay website.
