eBay is running a promotion for private (non-business) sellers in the UK that kicked off on September 30th and runs through October 5th. The invitation-only promotion allows eligible sellers to list up to 100 auction or fixed-price listings and pay no insertion fees.
Sellers must actively opt in to the promotion, and selling limits apply. As far as those who are eligible:
“eBay.co.uk registered private sellers who have been invited to participate and have actively opted in to the promotion via the RSVP link shown in the marketing communication. Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is not transferable. Sellers must be registered as a resident in the UK.”
eBay runs promotions for private sellers in the UK with boring regularity, while leaving business sellers with far fewer opportunities.
