eBay Runs Half-Off Sale on Express Payouts

eBay is promoting its Express Payouts with a promotion giving a 50% discount to sellers who sign up – but only for their first 5 express payouts (a feature that gives sellers access to their funds within 30 minutes).

When eBay instituted Express Payouts after it took over payment-processing from PayPal, it charged sellers 1.5% per transaction (with a minimum $0.25 and maximum $15.00 per transaction fee) for express payouts to VISA or Mastercard debit cards.

eBay now charges a flat fee of $2 applied to each express payout sent to a seller’s linked debit card or bank account.

eBay described the current invitation-only promotion as follows:

Faster cash, fewer fees
Need money fast? Get funds in 30 minutes with Express Payouts. Get 50% off your next 5 payouts at only $1 each. Just choose your debit card for payout. Ends 9/20 don’t wait.
Update your payment method
$2 fee/payout after 5 at 50% off. Terms apply. Learn more.

The promotion ends on September 20, 2025, and eBay explains in the promotion terms and conditions:

“After utilizing the allotted five (5) discounted Express Payouts or upon the conclusion of the Promotion Period (whichever occurs first), Express Payouts will resume standard pricing. Sellers will be charged the standard Express Payout fee of $2 per transaction thereafter.”
