PayPal Launches New Hub to Track Recurring Subscriptions

PayPal launched a new subscriptions hub that gives customers a single place to track, manage, and update recurring subscription payments. To link a subscription to PayPal means saving it as the payment method for that subscription. It appears users must download the PayPal app* in order to use the hub, which lets the customers do the following:

  • View, manage, and discover subscriptions in one spot.
  • Easily update payment methods across multiple providers in a few simple taps without needing to log into each one individually.
  • Discover offers on subscriptions.

As part of the launch, PayPal announced that PayPal and Venmo customers globally can soon skip the waitlist and get early access to Perplexity’s Comet AI-powered browser and receive a free 12-month trial subscription of Perplexity Pro.

In addition, eligible US customers who link and pay for three subscriptions in the hub will receive $50 cash back – for a limited time.

PayPal published the following video to YouTube to show how the new subscription hub works.

Update 9/4/2025: A spokesperson for PayPal confirmed the subscription hub is available only through the mobile app.
