Heritage Auctions will share its data with hobbyDB, a site for collectors that lets them research, track, value, buy, and sell collectibles and licensed merchandise.
According to Heritage Auctions’ announcement, “Collectors from around the world already come to hobbyDB to research and acquire everything from Golden Age comics to Porsche posters to Tiffany Glass and beyond. Now, to the delight of hobbyDB’s millions of visitors, the hobbyDB database will be boosted by more than 5 million past lots previously sold at Heritage Auctions.”
HobbyDB launched in 2014 and has 605,000 collectors using its site.
Heritage Auctions (www.HA.com), has over 1,250,000 registered bidder-members and searchable free archives of over 5 million past auction records with prices realized, descriptions and enlargeable photos.
