eBay UK Moves Business-Seller Contact Info to Seller Profile Page

eBay

eBay logoeBay will remove contact details from the UK listings of business sellers over time and will display them only on the seller profile page. eBay said the change to the desktop site will make it consistent with eBay’s mobile site and apps.

The announcement follows:

We’re making the way we display business sellers’ contact information on our desktop site consistent with our mobile site and apps.

From 5 July, on the desktop version of eBay.co.uk, we’ll start displaying business sellers’ contact details in a new Business info section on the seller’s profile. Over time, this will be the only place where buyers can access sellers’ contact information prior to purchase.

You can access the seller’s profile by selecting Contact details in the Seller information section on individual listings.

We’ll continue to display the seller’s VAT number (if available) along with the Terms and conditions for the sale and Returns policy on individual listings.
