eBay invited sellers in the UK to save 75% off listings in its latest promotion, but don’t get too excited – it only applies to private sellers who were invited. Here’s who is eligible according to the terms and conditions:
“eBay.co.uk registered private sellers who have been invited to participate and have actively opted in to the promotion via the RSVP link shown in the marketing communication. Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is not transferable. Sellers must be registered as a resident in the UK.”
Invited sellers can create up to 100 listings in the auction or fixed-price format with no insertion fee, and if any of those items sell, they will receive a 75% discount on final value fees. Typically 1-day and 3-day duration listings are excluded; we don’t see that in the terms, so be sure to check it prior to listing.
The promotion kicked off on June 28 and runs through Sunday, July 3rd. One seller noted that they had not received an email notification, but saw it on their Selling Manager page.
Sellers must actively opted in to the promotion prior to listing, and only single quantity listings are eligible. All other fees apply, see your invitation for details and restrictions.
