Lots of people head home for the holidays to spend time with family, and Etsy has a special initiative to capitalize on this reality. Each year, Etsy Admin staff organize meet-ups around the world during their holiday travels.
“Home for the Holidays” meetups allow users to meet Etsy staff in person and share their stories. “Taking time to get together and talk about your experiences on Etsy helps us build and deliver better products and services to help you manage your business. Hearing your stories drives us to work even harder to help you become even more successful on Etsy. Plus, we just really love meeting Etsy shop owners in real life, because you are such an inspiration to us!”
This is the 6th year Etsy is hosting the program, and on the agenda are cities from Atlanta, Georgia and Washington DC to Copenhagen, Denmark and Hanoi, Vietnam.
The benefit to sellers: “you will get a chance to meet an Etsy Admin, hear what they do at Etsy and how they support you and your business. Meet-ups are also a great way for you to meet and mingle with other Etsy sellers in your neighborhood,” Etsy explained.
“In the past, meet-ups have been held in libraries, cafes, restaurants and seller studios. Each meet-up will be different, depending on the venue. Whatever the venue, you will get a chance to meet an Etsy Admin, hear what they do at Etsy and how they support you and your business.”
