eBay’s affiliate program, the eBay Partner Network, suspended reporting capabilities, leading at least one member to think that affiliate tracking was also disabled. A spokesperson for eBay said tracking was not impacted.
“We gave publishers advance notice of this planned server upgrade and the associated reporting delays,” the spokesperson said on Thursday. She said the program was expected to be back on the normal reporting schedule by Friday morning (October 31st).
“Though we realize any reporting delays are an inconvenience, all tracking is still being captured and there is no additional impact to publishers,” she said.
In other news relating to the affiliate program, R.O.EYE began managing eBay’s ePN program in Germany on October 1, 2014, consolidating all of the major European eBay Partner Network territories under one performance agency. R.O.EYE said it has been managing ePN in the UK and several other European territories for the last 6 years.
