eBay is running a free-listing promotion that kicked off on Saturday and runs through October 29, 2014, but as is often the case these days, it’s by invitation only. eBay UK is also running a promotion but for private (casual) sellers only.
While the eBay.com promotion entices U.S. sellers to list up to 10,000 listings and pay no insertion fees, most sellers have listing limits that would prevent them from taking full advantage of the sale.
Invited sellers are limited to running 3, 5, 7, and 10-day duration fixed-price listings (auctions are excluded, as are 30-day duration listings). Sellers who have been invited to participate will automatically receive the promotion when they create qualifying listings.
The UK promotion also kicked off on October 25, but only runs through Monday, October 27th. It lets private sellers create up to 100 auction or fixed-price listings with no insertion fees – read details and restrictions on the eBay UK website.
And be sure to check your invitation for details and restrictions for the eBay.com promotion.
