eBay is running a free-listing promotion for private (casual) sellers in the UK, however, you must receive an invitation in order to participate. In the meantime, U.S. sellers have through the end of Tuesday to participate in an auction-only promotion that is also by invitation only, which we reported on Wednesday.
According to the latest promotion that kicked off on Saturday in the UK and ends today (October 20th): “Create up to 100 listing(s) in addition to any other free listings you are eligible for in an eligible category during the promotion period using the auction-style or fixed price format and you won’t pay an insertion fee for each listing during the promotion period.”
Sellers must be registered as a resident in the UK and be registered as a private seller on eBay.co.uk. Participation is linked to sellers’ accounts and is not transferable.
The promotion runs from October 18 – 20. All other fees apply, see eBay UK websitefor details and restrictions.
