Amazon Teases Next Prime Shopping Sales Event

Amazon will hold its next shopping sale called "Prime Big Deal Days," and while it advised sellers to start preparing deal submissions now, it would not reveal the actual date of the sale.

"Prime Big Deal Days is Amazon's major shopping event ahead of the holiday season that offers Prime members exclusive deals and savings across all categories. Think of it as an additional Prime Day-style opportunity to reach millions of deal-seeking customers," Amazon teased.

This will be the 4th annual Prime Big Deal Days holiday (the first, in 2022, was called Prime Early Access). Each 2-day event kicked off on the second Tuesday of October. If history is any indication, that puts the dates of this year's sale at October 14 - 15, 2025.

After last year's sale, Amazon said that globally, Prime members saved over $1 billion across millions of deals and wrote, "Independent sellers also saw record sales during the event compared to Prime Big Deal Days 2023." That's about as specific as Amazon gets about results of its sales events.

An Amazon moderator welcomed questions about the upcoming sale, writing in a thread on the discussion boards: "Prime Big Deal Days are approaching, and while event dates are still being finalized, I encourage experienced sellers to start preparing your deal submissions now. Amazon is now accepting submissions for Prime Big Deal Days via the Create a new deal workflow in the deals dashboard until August 21st, 2025."
