Downsides to eBay Authentication Program in Coins

Dear Ina,
Perhaps you have mentioned this already, I received an eBay email alerting me to this new requirement (Authenticity Guarantee for Coin Sellers).

This will delay buyers receiving their purchase by a couple of weeks, it will also give the 3rd party the ability to claim the seller's listing is inaccurate, allowing eBay to potentially sanction the seller on a matter of interpretation by the 3rd party.

If a coin has been certified why would you have to have authenticated.

It has always been a question of, who is authenticating the authenticators?
