Etsy March Workshop to Help Sellers Get Found

Etsy is holding a day of workshops at its headquarters in New York to help sellers increase the visibility of their items, reporting that 80% of sellers surveyed wanted more resources to help them in this area.

Etsy said it was dedicating the entire month of March to helping sellers get found, and each week it will publish articles, videos, and Online Labs to help them connect with their audience. At the end of the month, it will host the Etsy Success Symposium on Getting Found at Etsy Labs in New York.

The event will take place on March 30 and will include a host of focused workshops dedicated to teaching sellers how to get found through through search strategies and relevancy on Etsy, media and PR outreach, merchandising, and craft and wholesale shows. According to the announcement, "We'll have workshops, giveaways, on-site small business consulting, one-on-one Admin shop critiques and much, much more." Etsy will post the schedule of events and workshops online soon.

Sellers must apply for tickets, which cost $50, by March 16th. Attendance is limited to sellers who are already selling on Etsy.
