New App Helps Merchants Integrate Product Feed with TheFind

Since Google moved to a paid product feed model with Google Shopping last year, many small merchants have been looking for alternative sources of free shopping search traffic. Now shopping search engine TheFind, in conjunction with Lexity, is introducing a new, free app that allows merchants who use any of over 30 different shopping carts to list their products on TheFind.
"Not only is the app free, but submitting your feeds to TheFind is free," said Siva V. Kumar, cofounder and CEO of TheFind.

"Additionally, for most sites (i.e., those that are not working with any affiliate marketing programs), the traffic that they receive from TheFind is also free." He added that TheFind now hosts 18 million shopping visits every month, and sends traffic to 150,000 stores every month. "And the vast majority of those stores (typically smaller ecommerce merchants) receive that traffic at absolutely no cost," said Kumar. TheFind is an all-purpose shopping search engine and "people shop our site for every imaginable product, across every category," he said.
The 30-plus shopping carts that integrate with the app include 3dcart, AbleCommerce, AdvancedEMedia, Amazon Webstore, ASP.net Storefront, BIG Commerce, Bonanza, Core Commerce CS Cart, ETSY, Fastspring, Foxycart, Magento, MagentoGo, MIVA, open cart, OS Commerce, Pinnaclecart, Prestashop, ProStores, Shopify, Shopsite, Ultracart, Vendio, Volusion, X-cart, Yahoo Stores, Zen Cart and many more.
Lexity also enabled this upload app with a metrics analyzer for ROI tracking so site owners can see the sales being driven from shoppers on TheFind. "Through Lexity's ROI reports, merchants can view the efficacy of their marketing investments," said Amit Kumar, CEO of Lexity. "Merchants can download the free app, follow simple instructions, and submit their feeds to TheFind, all at no cost." He added that merchants will very quickly begin to benefit from improved product visibility on TheFind "due to more accurate data about their products, and (will) likely see increased sales."
"In sum, for zero cost and very little investment of time, merchants will see improved search results on TheFind due to the fact that their product information will be more up-to-date and readily searchable by our large shopper base," said TheFind's Kumar.
The app can be downloaded from either TheFind's merchant center or from Lexity.
