Sears Re-Launches Fulfillment Service for Third-Party Merchants

Email This Story to a Friend

Sears has re-launched its Fulfilled by Sears (FBS) service that now includes multi-channel fulfillment. The retailer, which joined Walmart in opening its ecommerce website to third-party merchants in 2009, said it is adding new functionality to FBS every month.

In its monthly newsletter to sellers, it said it was looking for merchants who wanted to utilize Sears' expertise in transportation and logistics by using FBS. For a limited time, sellers that convert items over to Fulfilled By Sears will be eligible for a special "Re-launch Offer."

FBS costs $39.99/monthly, which will be waived for new eligible sellers, who will also receive discounted commissions (1-2% lower than regular commissions) for 6 months.

To take advantage of the offer, merchants must sign up for FBS using a special link. The promotion is only available to new FBS Sellers and is limited to the first 100 sellers; products must be received at Sears' FBA facility by October 7, 2012. A minimum of 10 different SKUs must be sent to qualify. See promotion details and other restrictions.
