eBay Runs Auction Promotion for Non-Store Owners
By Ina Steiner
eBay is running a promotion for sellers who do not have a subscription to eBay Stores. Non-Store owners can list up to 50,000 Auction-style listings and pay no listing fees on February 7th, and can also add the Buy It Now feature for no additional charge during the promotion. Sellers who already qualify for 50 free monthly Auction-style listings and do not have an eBay Stores subscription can take advantage of the promotion and can still use their 50 free listings during the remainder of the month.
A photo of eBay executive Michael Jones accompanied the promotion announcement instead of Todd Lutwak, Vice President of Seller Experience. Last month, Jones was named Vice President of Merchant Development at eBay. He joined eBay in June 2010 as Vice President of Business Development coming from ChannelAdvisor.
All other fees apply during the 1-day promotion, see website for details and restrictions.
