Shipping Marketplace uShip Is Now Integrated with eBay Motors

eBay Motors has incorporated uShip's "Shipping Price Estimator" as a vehicle shipping option within all of its U.S. vehicle, motorcycle and powersports listings. uShip is an online marketplace for shipping services, and the new integration gives buyers on eBay Motors the ability to compare and receive uShip shipping estimates alongside published rates from other national carriers in the shipping tab.
On eBay Motors, 74 percent of vehicles sold in the fourth quarter of 2010 were delivered to out-of-state buyers. uShip said that for its transporters, it's an opportunity to earn business, and for eBay sellers, including auto dealers, additional shipping options would expand the audience of non-local buyers.
Dean Jutilla, Director of Marketing Communications for uShip, said the company has 1 million registered shipping customers. In Germany, uShip is already partnered with Mobile.de, eBay's largest European autos site.
