eBay Says Email Management and CRM among Good Seller Apps

Email This Story to a Friend

In a blog post encouraging third-party developers to create tools for its Selling Manager software, eBay listed some of the applications it thought were "good bets." They included email management, customer management, shipping and fulfillment, bulk editing of listings, UPI process management, picture management, profitability analysis and inventory management.

eBay has 34 Selling Manager Applications (see directory) that its sellers can use either for free or for a monthly subscription. eBay takes a 20 percent share of the fees vendors charge to sellers for using their applications, and in return, vendors gain exposure to eBay sellers who use Selling Manager.

eBay said developers who submit Selling Manager Application Business Readiness Review and Billing information by January 10 could go live by mid-February 2010 (link).
