eBay Runs Restricted Sale with 75% off Auction Insertion Fees
By Ina Steiner
eBay sent an email to some sellers offering an insertion-fee sale on auction listings. During the promotion period, December 30, 2009 through January 3, 2010, insertion fees for Auction-style listings will be 75% off, for qualifying sellers only.
This promotion applies to listings on eBay.com and eBay Motors - Parts & Accessories only. Sellers who qualify for participation will receive an email and a Message Center message - it's not clear which sellers eBay is targeting with the promotion.
Sellers listing items using the Sell Your Item form will receive the promotional rate after they have exhausted their five free listings. All other fees apply, see website for details and restrictions.
