By Ina Steiner
The Internet Merchants Association (IMA) announced a change in keynote speaker at its upcoming conference. Stephanie Tilenius, recently appointed to the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager eBay Marketplaces, North America, is now scheduled to give the keynote address. She replaces Philipp Justus as speaker as he joins PayPal in the recent management shakeup at the company that included the appointment of John Donahoe as President and CEO, replacing Meg Whitman, who is retiring in March. Stephanie Tilenius was formerly Vice President and General Manager of PayPal Merchant Services.
In making the announcement, IMA said it "is extremely honored to have Stephanie delivering the key note address at this year's conference as Stephanie represents "the new eBay" and is intent on listening to sellers and getting eBay back on the right track."
IMA's conference is being held in Las Vegas in conjunction with the ASD/AMD product-sourcing trade shows in Las Vegas on March 3 - 5, 2008. Other speakers include representatives from Google and Amazon.com.
