BuySafe announced a partnership with ScanAlert/Hackersafe to bundle their solutions for online merchants. The company said the partnership is significant because it addresses the two most prominent concerns of online shoppers - merchant non-performance and personal data infringement - and will increase consumer confidence and boost conversion rates and sales for online merchants as a result.

In addition, BuySafe announced that it has partnered with open-source shopping-cart provider CRE Loaded to make the BuySafe trust solution available to CRE Loaded's merchant base of more than 100,000. Under the terms of the partnership, BuySafe will be available as an embedded module from the CRE Loaded merchant administration dashboard.

CRE Loaded merchants that install the BuySafe module will be able to apply for BuySafe and add it to their websites in minutes, free of charge. Approved merchants will display the BuySafe Seal, which indicates that the merchant is continually monitored and that their customers' purchases can be fully guaranteed with a bond from BuySafe and its surety partners Liberty Mutual, Travelers, and ACE USA.

BuySafe also recently announced the addition of several new customers, including leading home improvement etailer Home Décor Products, and DVD Planet, part of Infinity Resources, the third-largest DVD retailer online. Shopping cart providers MIVA Small Business Solutions, Zoovy, and Cart32 recently integrated the BuySafe trust solution into their products, and 3dCart has also announced plans to do so shortly.
