eBay Changes Best Offer, Glitch Affects Ability to Leave Feedback

Email This Story to a Friend

Read the discussion boards on eBay and you get the idea that sellers may be asking, who moved my cheese? This week, sellers are reporting changes to the way eBay's Best Offer feature works. Buyers' IDs are apparently now partially hidden, and sellers are no longer able to add comments when responding to a Best Offer (http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?threadID=1000456678). No announcement about the changes was made to sellers.

And in the glitch department, some sellers report they have been unable to leave feedback for buyers for over a week (http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?threadID=1000450041). Additionally, Turbo Lister 2 users report that the Sales Tax table is disappearing when they list using the eBay tool. AuctionBytes reported a similar problem recently when Turbo Lister 2 sellers reported that shipping preferences were changing from "worldwide" to "US only" when listing items using the tool (http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y07/m03/i06/s02).
