Amazon Funds Stuck in Reserve Since September 30

Dear Ina,
I am a seller on Amazon for 2 years. I am so frustrated with them. Amazon is my main means of money. I sell pretty good like around $500 a week.

But about 2 months ago the entire profit I made went to their reserve account, which they say is for precaution in case of returns and things and I'll receive the money 7 days after the delivery - that’s when whatever profit made comes out of the reserve.

Well they've been putting my entire profit in reserve for 2 months - that's 4 pay periods. I have $2,200 in there, and when I call I said is something wrong with my account they said no, and the only advice they gave me is you need to sell more.

I'm like I don't have any cash I need to replenish my inventory. They said you need to sell more so I said ok and I spend through my own cash I had saved and I even convinced my wholesaler for credit. So I’m still selling on Amazon but they still kept it all of my money in reserve and haven’t paid me since September 30th.

Every time I call customer service they said just keep saying you’ll eventually get your money. I mean that’s easy for them to say with billions of dollars, but to me 2000 is a lot of money, and they just say sell more as if I can print money like that.

Anyways thanks for listening I really needed to vent have a good one.
T.

So So Sorry T.
Stopping online selling is like kicking a hard core addiction.
Seriously, you must stop the online selling and get a normal real world job.
You make way more money with way less frustration.
Just saw on the news today, woman with bakery can't get get workers.
A TON of businesses are starving for employees.
Now, get out there and WIN ! !

P.S.
Amazon, Ebay and Etsy are like the "Mary Kay", "Amway", and "Shackley" of the fly by night employment gigs.

@T. (the OP) - Start filing complaints! Begin with the Delaware Department of Justice (Amazon is incorporated in Delaware), the Federal Trade Commission, and the Better Business Bureau. Try some internet searches on how to get your funds released (check YouTube for videos). But realize your account may be suspended for going after them. Good luck!

Yes, I have the same issue - only Amazon Canada. They had suspended my account due to a change in how they tracked orders.  I got the suspension resolved quickly but they held on to our money.  Multiple attempts resulted in nothing.  Supposedly resolved now but won't know for sure until the money is released a week from Tuesday.  Up to about $17k Canadian.   Nuts.
