During December I had a package I sold on eBay go into Lala land: Customer purchased December 8th, label printed December 8th, scanned into Post office December 9th.
Goes missing until Dec 23 and shows movement again. I provided the customer with updates daily. It finally arrived January 6th.
I received a hit for Late Shipment on eBay. For some odd reason, the tracking never showed up through eBay, but did show up through the Post Office tracking.
I sent a request through to get the defect removed and provided them with the tracking showing it was mailed within 1 day of purchase and I did what I was supposed to do.
I received the following this afternoon:
Hello (user name redacted),
Thanks for contacting us about the late shipment rating you received for the following transaction:
Transaction ID: (transaction number redacted)
Item: (item number and listing title redacted)
We've reviewed your request to remove the late shipment rating related to this transaction.
We cannot remove it in this instance, as it is an indicator of a less than positive buying experience. We understand you may feel that you did everything to take care of your buyer.
Please note that this decision is final and cannot be changed or escalated.
So I have a defect on my account that is absolutely incorrect and they won't remove it. Lord, you have no idea how angry I am right now.
