Amazon Seller Wages Campaign Against China-Based Sellers

Dear Ina,
I report Chinese/Hong Kong Amazon seller names everyday. And I have actually seen some names finally disappear after months of reporting them over and over.

I noticed today on the latest crop of names, the Chinese sellers are getting smarter. Now they are launching new names with one to five positive feedbacks, thus giving themselves a 100% positive feedback. This of course benefits them even more with buy-box wins and diluting the inevitable negatives they will get.

I am 99% positive these are fake feedbacks. So I thought I would take a shot in the dark and report them for leaving fraudulent feedback on themselves. I have no proof, but what do I have to lose? And less than a day later, one of the two names I reported was gone.

Small victory, and I’ll take it. Maybe because feedback is such a hot-button issue with Amazon, we might have more success getting them kicked off on this offense as opposed to all the other rules they break?

Thank you for your time,
Amazon Warrior

Amazon is famous for tracking every click a person makes.

I'd guess every report you make adds up, and one day you'll be the one who gets the boot.

After leaving a negative as a buyer several weeks ago, I looked at it the next day to see if others had the same problem. To my surprise the negative was gone. My entire feedback good and no way for me to repeat it. Since then I have documented at least 20 negative feedbacks for this clown plus multiple positive saying late shipping, item never delivered and giving the seller the benefit of the doubt (why else would someone that waited 4 weeks for a product leave a positive). I have reported the seller. I have turned him in to the team that inspects violations and as of now he is still selling with not a single negative to his name although he got as I said at least 20 in the past month. Everyone else would have been escorted to the door for good. Yet he still keeps selling. I don't know if he is Chinese or not since the product I eventually got from him was dropped shipped with nothing on the packaging saying it came from him or Amazon (an Amazon violation in itself). Thy this guy gets away with this is beyond me for sure unless his latest scam is the positives he has been getting were originally much lower in stars and someone is just adding more stars instead of deleting the whole comment.

I have no clue why some are treated differently at Amazon since the rules supposedly apply to all sellers, but a chosen few can do what they want and get away with it.

Moonwishes, because Chinazon and Chinabay LOVE money and cheap manufactured commodities that you can easily find at Walmart. Go figure.

No doubt the seller is asking Amazon to remove the feedback.  If the comments left are a product review in any way, Amazon will remove the entire comment, this is more than likely why most of the comments are now gone.  When leaving feedback on Amazon the entire comment must be about the seller and the service they provide, not a comment that talks about the item - ''cheap junk, arrived late''.  Especially if the item did arrive within the timeframe Amazon quoted.
So the seller is smart - he's asking Amazon to remove the comments- if they are in violation POOF they're gone.  Yes you must report these people to seller performance, and do it over and over again.

Nope they weren't product reviews (as a Vine reviewer at this point I know the difference! LOL) The 'seller' confirms shipment in two days and then nothing is shipped for several weeks (a violation as things are to be shipped when confirmed that they are shipped) nor are we given tracking numbers ever. He then has a drop shipper ship the item without any labeling showing it came from Amazon or the seller (another violation). In my case after ordering on the 20th of April, he didn't have the item drop shipped until May 6 from a town 110 miles from me and it arrived on the 10th! If it was that close he should have at least had it dropped shipped on the 22 and I would have received it on the 26th! Since the drop shipper used a tracking number, I could get that info off the box when it actually arrived. All his bad feedbacks are about slow shipping, missing delivery estimates, missing packages. He has MORE packages go AWOL in a week than I have had in 14+ years of selling (and my sales numbers all told aren't that tiny).

Since quick shipping, etc. is something most buyers look for, to have those feedbacks deleted daily and leaving him with a 98% feedback means he, with Amazon's help is being very deceitful. It would be extremely rare for this guy to ever get a 'quick shipping comment'.

I don't intend to rest my case until something is done with him!
