eBay Optimizes Saved Search Emails for Mobile

Dear Ina,
eBay's having another go at the search email notices; better information (and bigger graphic), but now we have to scroll a single column.

Why did they have to change the original email format in the first place?
Regards
Philip

Note from the Editor: We also found a thread on the eBay boards, "Is there any way to opt out of the new 2015 saved search email format?" in which an eBay user wrote:

"Is there any way to opt out of the new 2015 saved search columnar email format? While I like the larger pictures, I would rather not have to scroll through the listings."

What you think of the new format?

So, this latest change in search email format is apparently due to eBay's dream of "mobile" commerce saving their atrophying marketplace—Dream on Johnny Ho …

Frankly, anyone that buys anything, particularly a pre-used item, on eBay via "mobile" has to have rocks in their head …

Still Johnny Ho know best, and we know that because we can compare the share prices of Amazon and eBay and see just how well Johnny Ho has outperformed Jeff Bezos over the past eight years—LOL …

The eBay executive suite—where the incompetent mingle with the disingenuous, the malevolent and the outright criminal, and the just plain stupid ... http://bit.ly/11F2eas

Another eBay destructive innovation which most assuredly will drive more buyers away and result in yet another decline in sales.

Perhaps the moves which are hammering sales into the ground are intentional by the new CEO.  The strategy being to intentionally lower sales now and hope that when eBay becomes a stand alone company that they can reverse these idiotic changes and sales will recover.

Unfortunately for eBay, they have forgotten a golden rule of retail which is to never give your customers a reason to shop elsewhere... they will likely never return.

another control move on ebay part, heck soon I will have to file a protection order against them for stocking my buyers, if a small company did these things it would be stocking buyers!
