eBay Seller: Waiting for Proceeds Is the Last Straw

Dear Ina,
I am curious if the new method of getting paid on eBay was created so that eBay can collect interest on the money that they "hold" for you until they deposit in your account? 

This was the last straw for me. I cannot continue using the platform - love your website btw, keep up good work!

Yeah, that's a head scratcher, CanBrit.  For eBay to be charging a credit card account usually means they are the one paying the $.30 processing fee. You'd think that alone would deter them.  No fee to charge the bank account, I don't think.  But it's eBay, so you have to add the stupid factor.
