Is eBay Correct that Free Returns Are Industry Standard?
I think eBay is dishonest when they say free returns are industry standard. That is flat out not true on selling venues like theirs. I'd like them to name another selling venue like theirs, that does or tries to force sellers into offering free returns. Below is actual info on Amazon & Walmart sites concerning returns on products not owned or sold either of them.
Free Returns only applies to product(s) fulfilled by Amazon. It does not apply to the same product(s) fulfilled by other sellers.
Items purchased from a Marketplace retailer cannot be returned to a Walmart store or to Walmart.com; they must be returned to their Marketplace Retailer in accordance with their returns policy. Please email the Marketplace retailer directly.
Items purchased from dealers or resellers and not Walmart.com directly are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Please don't use any of my real info as we still sell on eBay.
