Dear Ina, Holy smokes. I see one of MY items in an ad on Yahoo mail. So now I am happy. Then I click on it, and it disappears. Then I click several more times, only to have someone else's item show up in the new window.
Once I finally get mine to show up, the "save $4.00" that appeared in the window is completely disingenuous. I had put it up at $74.99 then immediately changed to $69.99. It appears that they are only advertising items with a price drop??
Might be a good tip for people to list the item at $150.00, for example, then immediately revise to the price you really want, $145. I know I am going to use this to my advantage.
I am going to test this morning since I have a couple minutes, and see if it works on things that I raise $5 and then LOWER them to see if they get more hits, thanks to the ads.
I also discovered that if you search out your items and hit the WATCH button, it's counting them when you look at Selling Manager. But it appears they are rewarding sellers who lower prices. Whether that is artificial or NOT.
Silly. But a terrific find. Nancy |
