Seller Feels Taunted by eBay in Best Offer Email Notice
I'm not sure if I am on beta test, and have developers messing with me. I had a "best offer" come in over the weekend and I countered it with what I feel is fair. I have the only item like that on eBay, at least what I can see in search results.
eBay sent me email and message confirmation of offer expired with the subject line: "How bad do you want (Item name)" with a winking emoji next to it.
In the message: "Hi (redacted), unfortunately your counter offer was unsuccessful. We'll let you know as soon as any new offers arrive."
Why would they ask me how bad I want my own item with an emoji? Is it because they are poking at me... like I should have taken the offer... I have sold a quantity 28 of that particular item most were buy it now.
Please crop out my screename if you use the pictures, I just leave them there so you know I'm a real seller, and these are real screenshots.
Am I interpreting this message incorrectly? Do other sellers get the emoji treatment? I thought it was an unprofessional message heading. I can't wait to leave eBay.
