Do You Have Questions for eBay Growth Advisors?

eBay will make members of its Growth Advisor team available to answer questions from sellers during next week's monthly chat session. The theme of the chat is, "Starting 2024 off right and setting your business up for success in the new year."

eBay had devoted a chat session to the same topic last year when it hosted a Growth Advisor specialist in January 2023, who explained: "Our team helps sellers focus on the health of their accounts to ensure a solid foundation, and then look at growth opportunities to help grow your business on eBay."

The program is clearly important to eBay, as it has been hosting Growth Advisor specialists on its eBay for Business podcast. As we reported last week, it will continue to run interviews with team members throughout the year.

This month's chat session was originally scheduled for today (January 10) but will instead take place on Wednesday, January 17, 2024; sellers can ask questions on the eBay Monthly Chat thread beginning at 1 pm PST (4 pm Eastern).

Only a "sucker" would use promoted listings!

If you have good product priced right there's no reason to pay eBay extra.

I myself have NEVER used promoted listings, my wife tried it once and I had to scold her over it. . .

Yeah, in early 2023 I got an advisor, then he ghosted me and my store practically died right after. How 'bout you fix whatever you did on 4/1/2023 and quit killing my business!

I truly believe there is no coming back from the disaster eBay has become at their own greedy hands. Here's an interesting thing that is happening to me right now. My December sales on all my venues were dismal. Out of the blue in Nov an antique mall I had left my name with 2 years ago called me and offered me a booth. I said sure why not.  My December sales in that mall even though it's still 1/2 empty were double my internet sales. I'm shocked - happy but shocked. I think these corporate raiders have undone themselves with their greed. I think folks are tired of their info being sold to autobot callers. I think folks are tired of paying high shipping - I think people are tired of recv junk in the mail (happened to me in Dec - got a jackhammer drill bit instead of a necklace) I think buyers are wanting to see touch and buy things in person again. Could be just a new seller fluke for me but so far in Jan I've already made my Feb. rent. I have another friend who also went into another mall in another state and the same thing happened to her. Just a little heads up - there is life after eBay.

What Ebay growth? Sorry Ebay but YOU are the Growth that I removed myself from about 2 years ago. We sold over $100k in Antique Furniture and Smalls over several years but Quit after it just became No Fun. The FVF on shipping furniture was the nail in the coffin.

You destroyed a good thing and all the Growth Advisors in the world will never be able to recapture that again!
