Carvana Lists Cars on eBay but Why the Dismal Feedback?

Carvana is not a legitimate company.  First it was Ugly Duckling, then it went bankrupt as Drive Time, and because E Garcia is a convicted fraud felon, E.Garcia put his son in charge of Carvana while he sold tens of thousands of shares of carvana daily.  They have title problems, they have no customer service.  Their only customer is people so desperate to own a car they will put up with misleading listings, title problems, questionable lending practices and a shabby warranty service all of which go back to the convicted fraud felon running the sham.

Sounds like a used car dealership that never grew up after the 1960s.

State Attorney Generals have a particular dislike for used car dealers which is why I mentioned the 1960s because by 1970-80s they were cracking down big time and passing numerous laws to help protect the public from unscrupulous dealers. Sounds like they found a home on ebay.

Why are they allowed to have their phone number in every photo stating "call us"? Are they not asking buyers to buy off eBay? Seems like eBay would have a problem with that, well, for normal sellers, not the chosen few.

I dont buy, I lease - but eBay is WELL KNOWN for protecting its beloveds.

Not the first time, not the last time.

Making sales (LOTS of sales) on eBay is simply about how much you pay them to be seen.

Pay them enough (platinum store)(promise them XXXX numbers of new eyeballs)(threaten to VERO them into oblivion if they DONT show you or do X) all these and more (like the FOOLS who love CPC) and they will do ANYTHING for you.

Rules are for CHUMPS aka small sellers, when you are a BIG seller - and Carvana (good, bad or indifferent) probably offered them BIG gross numbers so they could pad their Wall Street numbers. In return, eBay wipes the slate clean - when ever it starts to effect "business".

Are they any good? Dont know. Does it even matter? (no, cause money is money and eBay will lie down with anything to make coin) - so no one should be surprised - I know Im not.

We've seen this in the past - nothing NEW, nothing to see - move on. Just send Ionnie his CUT (like Tony S aka any good boss of the family) and move on.

Just above the ebay listing number is "Report Item". If we are not allowed phone numbers in our listings, why can select companies? "Report Item", Report Category - Listing practices, Reason for Report - Avoiding eBay fees, Detailed Reason - Contact info in listings

I sell books on eBay, and, as far as I know an image of the book is required and must accompany the listing - but the big book sellers don't seem to have to post a picture of the book - or of anything at all it seemsl!!!  
One set of standards for the small seller and another for the big sellers!!!

I assume because of the the car shortage, their cars are selling quickly. They probably manually pull listings once a car sells elsewhere, and it worked up until the car shortage. Now with the shortage, cars are just flying off the lots. It would be a good idea not to waste your time on these platforms and go direct to the dealership. Unless, you just wanna complain... houses are the same they are listed for sale when they've been in contract.

We bought a car through Carvana this past year.  We went through the actual Carvana website NOT Ebay.  We had a wonderful and impressive experience.  We sold them our old car for a very good price, and bought a great car that was exactly as described.  They delivered the car right to our door, we signed the paperwork at our house after a lengthy test drive.  We were allowed to return the car at any time for the next 30 days or 1,000 miles with no penalty.  They also took care of the paperwork for the taxes, title, and licensing.  I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

Carvana is like a number of dealerships that cater to people with bad credit. And they charge as much interest as they can legally get away with. There's a used car dealership in the Los Angeles area called Repossess Auto Sales which is always advertising on the local TV stations. I love that name, and I assume that's what their business relies on: people who can't make their monthly payments and they get their cars repossessed.

Perhaps the Carvana deal includes spiffy ads for buying autos and auto related on ebay. In the midst of a video I was watching, I was hit twice by a "buy anything auto related" eBay ad.

I mean this happens with all auto sellers on Ebay....they have cars listed lots of places at the same time and every car dealer has negs for having sold a car already when the buyer bought it on Ebay.

This isn't limited to Carvana.

Just as the article stated they had a feedback of 23 yesterday and 75%, today they are up to 88.5% and 28.  Looks like 5 negatives were removed.  Wish I had taken a screen shot of the pre-cleanse.

TRS is a ‘designation’ assigned by eBay, according to eBay’s ‘assessment’.  It no longer has anything to do with what any buyers may believe.  And yes, like everything else eBay, it has a price.

The rest of us would be booted from eBay if we did a fraction of what Carvana is doing.

This is one of the best examples that I have seen of eBay not being a level playing field.
