eBay Spring Seller Update 2018 Is Here
By: Ina Steiner
eBay is unveiling the Spring Seller Update today, the first of three to be implemented this year. It does not appear that eBay has made any fee changes for US sellers*, but that's not the case in the UK: non-business sellers with Stores ("Shops" in UK parlance) will pay higher commission fees, and business sellers will pay more for an Anchor store.
*Unfortunately this is not the case - there are fee changes, which you can find on this page.
eBay is also moving toward stricter returns and fast/free delivery for sellers in both markets. And while they aren't fee changes, they may increase the costs of doing business on the site.
It's official: eBay provided details about its plans to begin moving to a product-based shopping platform, a move reported by EcommerceBytes on Sunday.
In the US, eBay is introducing new Store tiers along with a new concept: seller metrics based on peer benchmarks.
Here's a link to the breakdown of the changes for US sellers
We've also broken down the changes for UK sellers
