eBay did wrong and they'll have to pay for mistakes made. . .

Try to contain yourself Toolguy. This blog has value well beyond any bag of coins, and has been run by those with a dedication beyond compensation.

If the Steiner’s chose to persist through such frightening intimidation, I’d imagine they’d persist even more when (if) most If not all financial challenge is eliminated, no matter how many commas may be ‘Disclosed’, or not disclosed. And if not, somebody will.

In fact Tool, why not see this as a perfect opportunity to start your own blog? Then you could hop around off topic to your heart’s content. And given your constant contention of issues being so minimally impactful and the “Likes” (tm) so prevalent, It should have a robust following.

A) Glad the Steiners are safe. This was ugly on a sociopathic level. Very mafia like.

B) Ecommercebytes is part of if not the Steiner's entire brand. I am hoping that it does not go away based on the terms of a settlement. That will only show that eBay continues to shut down the truth.

C) Why  hasn't  this story been picked up by the major news outlets and 60 Minutes? It is big.

D) To the eBay Board-Are you not reading? What is it going to take for you to completely transform this company and rebuild it from the ground up?

C) I can't wait to read the book so I hope that those rights are not signed away in a settlement.

Glad to see this put behind the Steiners, indictment by indictment, plea by plea. The more I personalize what they went through the more horrified I feel. Frightening and unnerving stuff. I agree with Rexford in that this corporate scandal should be a segment on 60 Minutes.

thanks for posting that, i had missed the whole story when it happened, it was worse than i could have imagined.

i do not understand how wenig got dismissed with a huge compensation package and not arrested.

The peon women are looking at minimum sentences, no prior records, not in charge, and presumably they are talking to the FBI. The head of security and the former cop are going to be nailed for the coverup, tampering with evidence, lying to the FBI and witness intimidation. They will be facing years in prison. Of course they could turn on Wymer and Wenig, going to get interesting.
